Students take more subjects, earning more credits in a shorter period of time than in most other Swiss hotel schools. Due to these small class sizes and intensive courses you can complete your degree nearly a whole year earlier than in other institutes without compromising on quality, which means you will have been earning for a full year before you would have graduated from most other schools.

Highly Qualified Faculty

All of IMI faculty are highly trained and have a vast experience in the hospitality industry. Between them they speak over twenty languages, thirty percent have PhDs and all are qualified to Masters level.

A Note About Rankings

There are currently NO official Swiss hotel school rankings. There are some “rankings” around, but they have no scientific credibility. Usually they are sponsored by the owners of one of the conglomerate schools.

IMI prefers a more equitable approach to marketing. We are confident in our school and believe that presenting the honest facts about IMI is evidence enough of our integrity and dedication to our students.

To celebrate our cultural diversity we have an international night each semester where students have a chance to introduce elements of his or her heritage to the rest of the student body. It is one of the most popular nights of any semester and is a true celebration of the myriad of cultures and backgrounds from which our students are drawn.
