Professor Kit Jenkins, Guest Lecturer at IMI
"Over the 11 years I have been associated with IMI I am confident that it continues to provide a high quality and relevant education for those students preparing for a career in the hospitality and tourism industry."

Fieldtrip to SAP

IMI covers an all-encompassing education. As one of IMI students Luca Drago once mentioned:

"The programmes are real eye openers. We also study issues that related to our lives and the world around us. Specially the many fieldtrips really added on to the unique learning experience at IMI University Centre. The greatest thing is that they are all free, included into the school fee and so very close by."

IMI arranges a study trip to Greece.
Last term IMI students had a unique chance to particpate in a tourism project in the Northern part of Greece. (extra curriculum). Students stayed in Lake Plastira, one of the most important attractions in this area. As part of their International Tourism Development course they did  research in the tourism developments in different parts of the world and focused on tourism development planning issues in Greece. This was an international project with many students participating in the project from many different counties. This particular project had approximately 14 sub projects requiring primary and secondary research. The project's aim was to create a local protocol of quality for tourism which is bespoke for the region involving several partners such as ANKA (a development company of Karditsa representing the local municipalities through board members), the Hotel Owners Association and local restaurant owners. the group was lead by IMI's own Professor Theordore Benetatos.
