Current situation update from IMI International Management Institute...

As the 2021C term progresses smoothly, we would like to remind you of current coronavirus guidelines on campus, as well as give you an update on the new regulations announced by the Swiss Federal Government, effective today.

Guidelines in place at IMI

Here at IMI, we continue to report no known cases of Covid on campus. We thank once again all students and staff for the cooperation in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all. In the best interest of students and staff, there is, nevertheless, no change in policy for the preventative measures implemented on campus.

Kindly note that wearing face masks indoors on campus remains obligatory.

Similarly, other precautionary measures already in place remain unchanged:

  • No shaking hands or hugging other people
  • Washing hands regularly
  • Maintaining a distance of 1.5m from other people
  • Group meetings should be held through MS Teams if the minimum distance between group members cannot be maintained
  • Avoid unnecessary trips away from the campus and if you have to leave the campus, please be careful and observe the above guidelines at all times
  • Random temperature checks will be performed by IMI Reception and the Duty Supervisors
  • Visitors are allowed on campus ONLY for business reasons or meetings, with prior approval from one of the Directors, and must always sign in and sign out at Reception

Covid Vaccination

For those who wish to get vaccinated, please make your appointments online: - please see IMI Reception for guidance and assistance if you have any queries, and remember to take your B permit, your health insurance card and the additional fact sheet from the insurance company, which is available from the Finance Office or Reception.

New students will need to wait to receive their B permit before registering online for a vaccination appointment.

Updated Regulations from the Swiss Federal Government

Effective today, all persons aged 16 and over will need to have a COVID Certificate to access:

  • Indoor areas of restaurants and bars
  • Cultural and leisure facilities
  • Indoor Events

If you do not have the required documentation, then you can be fined 100CHF. You can read more about the new regulations coming into force today, by clicking on the picture below.

Please continue to be vigilant and contact Reception IMI immediately on MS TEAMS if you feel unwell or develop typical Covid-19 symptoms.
