A Note of Health, Safety, Security and Hygiene Assurance at IMI University Centre
The IMI University Centre consistently achieves and ensures the highest safety, and security and hygiene standards in accordance to Swiss and European Law. At IMI we have a duty of care to all of our students during their stay on campus in Kastanienbaum and in Switzerland.
Such areas of importance are:
• Integrated fire system and fire exits check regularly by the authorities
• Regular fire drills and fire
• Smoke detectors extensively located throughout the campus
• Integrated key system
• Personal safe in each room
• Separate gender rooms and bathrooms with key system
• High standard of hygiene throughout
• All equipment is passed by a European regulating authority (CE)
• 24 hr staff member on duty
• Pastoral support by faculty
• Student Councillor available for confidential matters and support
• Staff members with experience in First Aid
• Swiss registered Doctor locally.
• IMI staff are legally required to attend Safety and Hygiene training sessions.
